The best time depends on what you want to see. June-October is best for general wildlife viewing, while January-February is ideal for the calving season in Southern Serengeti. The wildebeest migration crosses the Mara River typically between July and October.
We recommend consulting with a travel clinic, but typically you'll need Yellow Fever (if coming from an affected country), Hepatitis A & B, Typhoid, and routine vaccines. Malaria prophylaxis is strongly recommended.
For peak season (June-October), we recommend booking at least 6-9 months in advance, especially for popular lodges. For other times, 3-6 months is usually sufficient.
Our safaris typically include all park fees, accommodations, meals, game drives, transportation, and guide services. International flights, visas, travel insurance, and personal expenses are not included.
